How to Download and Play Your Videos & Audio
Digital videos are delivered in MP4 format and digital audio is delivered in MP3 format. Each download arrives either as a single file or as a ZIP folder containing several files.
- If the download is a single MP4 or MP3 file, you can play it right away.
- If the download is a ZIP folder, extract (unzip) it first, then play the files inside.
Tip: VLC Media Player is a free app that plays both MP4 video and MP3 audio on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android. It's a reliable single choice if you'd rather not switch between players.
Windows PC
- After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it and note where it was saved.
- If it's a ZIP folder: right-click the ZIP file, choose Extract All, and pick where to save the folder.
- Open the file and play it with any media player — Windows Media Player, the Media Player app, or VLC.
Mac
- After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it and note where it was saved.
- If it's a ZIP folder: double-click it. The files are extracted into a folder in the same location automatically.
- Play videos with QuickTime Player (or VLC) and audio with the Music app (or VLC).
iPhone & iPad
- After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. It saves to the Files app (usually in Downloads).
- If it's a ZIP folder: open the Files app and tap the ZIP file once — iOS unzips it into a folder in the same place.
- Tap an MP4 or MP3 to play it. For the most reliable playback, install the free VLC app and open the files in it.
Android Phone or Tablet
- After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it to your device.
- If it's a ZIP folder: open your Files (or My Files) app, go to Downloads, tap the ZIP file, and choose Extract.
- Play the MP4 or MP3 files with your device's built-in player or the free VLC app.
