How to Download and Play Your Videos & Audio

Digital videos are delivered in MP4 format and digital audio is delivered in MP3 format. Each download arrives either as a single file or as a ZIP folder containing several files.

  • If the download is a single MP4 or MP3 file, you can play it right away.
  • If the download is a ZIP folder, extract (unzip) it first, then play the files inside.

Tip: VLC Media Player is a free app that plays both MP4 video and MP3 audio on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android. It's a reliable single choice if you'd rather not switch between players.

Windows PC

  1. After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it and note where it was saved.
  2. If it's a ZIP folder: right-click the ZIP file, choose Extract All, and pick where to save the folder.
  3. Open the file and play it with any media player — Windows Media Player, the Media Player app, or VLC.

Mac

  1. After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it and note where it was saved.
  2. If it's a ZIP folder: double-click it. The files are extracted into a folder in the same location automatically.
  3. Play videos with QuickTime Player (or VLC) and audio with the Music app (or VLC).

iPhone & iPad

  1. After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. It saves to the Files app (usually in Downloads).
  2. If it's a ZIP folder: open the Files app and tap the ZIP file once — iOS unzips it into a folder in the same place.
  3. Tap an MP4 or MP3 to play it. For the most reliable playback, install the free VLC app and open the files in it.

Android Phone or Tablet

  1. After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. Download it to your device.
  2. If it's a ZIP folder: open your Files (or My Files) app, go to Downloads, tap the ZIP file, and choose Extract.
  3. Play the MP4 or MP3 files with your device's built-in player or the free VLC app.
